Mark your calendars for these events — both great causes that, unfortunately, will be played on the same day:

****The Hero Bowl All-Star Game, April 1. The third-annual event works in conjunction for the scholarship fund of the same name, which raises money for the children of emergency services officials who perish in the line of duty. The game, which pits senior-loaded East and West teams, begins at 3 p.m. at Interboro High School.

****The All-Star Labor Classic, April 1. The 25th-annual event, sponsored by Philadelphia’s Organized Labor, raises money for United
Cerebral Palsy of Philadelphia. The game, which fields City and Suburban all-star teams, tips off at 1 p.m. at Upper Dublin High School.
