CHESTER FINISHES UNBEATEN SEASON WITH SECOND STRAIGHT PIAA TITLE
STATE COLLEGE --- The Clippers accomplished what they came to Happy Valley for.
Chester defeated Lower Merion, 59-33, Saturday night to claim the PIAA Class AAAA crown. It's the school's eighth title overall, third in five years and second in a row.
Never had the Clippers (32-0) gone unbeaten en route to a state crown, nor had they ever posted back-to-back state title seasons. Until 2012.
