SOME HOUSEKEEPING NOTES FROM THE SEEDING MEETING FOR DISTRICT ONE
A couple odds and ends from the first few minutes of this morning's District One seeding meeting:
***Temple University will host the Class AAAA semifinals Feb. 28.
***Villanova University will host the Class AAAA championship March 2.
***Haverford College will host the Class AAA championship March 3.
***The game to decide which team wins Class AAAA's ninth and final spot in the state bracket will be played at a neutral site. In past years, it had been played at the site of the higher seed.
****In the state's next two-year enrollment cycle, it's believed District One Class AAAA will receive 10 spots in the 32-team PIAA bracket (up from nine currently and eight as recently as 2008).
